Body and facial oil which moisturises and nourishes. It helps fight signs of ageing.
Wheatgerm is a tiny part of wheat grain (2.5% of the whole), and its the embryo which will allow a new plant to grow. Its the most nutritious part of the grain and it contains the elemental nutrients: most of the fat (rich in vitamin E), minerals (especially zinc and magnesium), carbohydrates, proteins and vitamins and natural antioxidants.
Its unique formula includes palmitic acid, linoleic acid and linolenic acid. Its antioxidant properties (mainly because of the high vitamin E contents) have a very positive effect against free radicals and its nourishing value makes Wheatgerm Oil an essential ally for dry and cracked skin. It is also used to support the natural regeneration process which makes it very useful in the treatment of stretch marks and scars. This is a dermoprotective oil and it prevents loss of water.
We especially recommend Wheatgerm Oil for the sensitive skin around the eye contour. The eye contour is the part of the face which suffers most due to the physical movements we perform during the day: blinking, laughing, talking, expressing emotions... these keep the muscle surrounding the eye in continuous motion, contracting each second. If we add other factors affecting this area such as stress, lack of sleep, bad nutrition and age, rings or bags around our eyes, crow's feet and other wrinkles in general. For this reason, the vitamins and fat acids present in Alqvimia's Wheatgerm Oil are excellent thanks to their anti-inflammatory and antioxidant power, which repair and protect the eye contour to give you a glowing, relaxed and rested look.
Wheatgerm Oil has an anti-inflammatory effect making it ideal for sensitive and irritated skins, besides being an excellent make-up remover.
