Myrrh Essential Oil, or Commiphora Myrrha, contains antioxidant.
Myrrh is a substance known since ancient times as it was one of the ingredients used in religious ceremonies in ancient Egypt. It was also one of the components of the famous Egyptian perfume kyphi and was also used in embalming processes.
Since that time, its antioxidant properties were known, which is why Egyptian women used it regularly in their cosmetic preparations. Its cooling properties on the skin also make it very suitable for use in dry and hot climates. In Jewish tradition, myrrh is present as one of the three gifts of the Magi at the birth of Christ.
On a cosmetic level, it acts as a moisturizer, antiseptic, astringent and anti-inflammatory. It also has toning and dermopurifying properties. Protects the nails, it is perfect for mature skin and also for oily hair.

Use: Topical use. Perfume to be diluted in a carrier oil. Max. recommendation: 3% (body use).
Cautions: Topical use. Avoid contact with your eyes and other sensitive areas. Keep out of the reach of children. Consult your doctor before using during pregnancy, breastfeeding or with any other medical treatments. Some essential oils are sensitive to light, so dont expose skin to the sun after use. Store in a cool (<25ºC), dry place, away from light. Flammable.
- Anti-wrinkle facial treatment: Make the following mixture and apply as a facial serum every night: 20 ml. of Hazelnut Vegetable Oil with 2 drops of Myrrh Essential Oil, 1 drop of Rosewood Essential Oil, 1 drop of Orange Essential Oil and 1 drop of Frankincense Essential Oil.
